we come from TN every few years to the James river for Smallies. The biggest for me so far is right at 5 lbs. Caught it on a crawdad.
Please put the fish back into the water in a timely fashion.

Yeah, I need to change the title of the video, Its a good size smallie for the James River in VA. I uploaded this video when I first started fishing a couple years ago, I guess I could say I was excited to catch that fish but I’ve seen way bigger now that I’m fishing alot more.
up her in minnesota we get um about 22-24 inches

i caught a smallmouth bigger that that + he was fat
