www.thundermistfishingtips.com Nice smallmouth bass and bonus walleye! Today we’re fishing for smallmouth bass in Lake Erie, Buffalo, New York. We’re fishing with tube jigs and caught a some large smallmouth bass and even a nice-sized walleye as an added bonus at the end. Please excuse the horrible wind-rumble at the end ; we are upgrading our equipment.

@muskie1976 ye youre pretty much the stereotypical american asshole. ya invade us and steal our oil just like every other country you fuckin go in? you guys are so close minded for the rest of the world. bass season isn’t always open because the Bass are nesting in early-mid june. we just have better fishing regulations than you guys

can someone answer why on the canuckistan side of lake erie bass season opens the end of june and the newyork side its open all year. can’t the buzzkills in canuckistan get their shit together so i can fish bass for more than one month before we’re buried in snow. its a massive fuckin lake, having bass season open all year on the great lakes wouldn’t even come close to hurting the fishery. fuck canuckistan, please bring back bush to invade canada and liberate us.

@philly442 That day, we bagged around 20 fish, but you can easily catch more.
May & June are great months for smallies.
If you decide to go, just keep an eye on the wind as Lake Erie can get nasty.

How many did you Catch that day, I live in Maryland i usually go to Florida Lake Okeechobee and fish but he i could go there
@pbui17 This video was filmed in early May. Bass season is open year round on lake Erie in New York State, and May is a great time to catch both quality & quantity.
If you get a chance, give lake Erie a try in May & good fishing!

@FishboiFishboi Tubes work great in river systems for bass. Try using 2″ or 3″ tubes and use a light jig head (1/8 oz or 1/4 oz).
Try casting “up-stream” and bouncing it back towards you…should produce some nice bass for you!

i river fish a lot, i use tubes all the time while river fishing. u just have to use a smaller one and work it the same way. let it sink to the bottom, lift up slightly and let it sink back down. pretty simple. tight lines

….go with a jigging spoon or a Viper Spoon..the smallies are feeding up on bait fish during the fall & so spoons work best!
