    You’re probably going to want at least an 80 ln thrust motor but I would highly recommend a 101 lb thrust with that big of a boat.
    If you can mount on the bow, go with a Fortrex 101 and get the 62″ shaft. That will keep your motor in that water and give you plenty of thrust to move you around.

    Im going to move to Ohio in a year and need to know what my best bet for a min koda trolling motor. I have a 22 foot aluminum boat but can fish off the front for walleye and small mouth. Thanks

    Bass Pro XPS 100% Fluorocarbon. I have actually had really good luck with that, Berkley 100% Fluoro and P-Line 100% Fluoro. Those are the 3 brands I use most frequently.
