MA Quabbin Smallmouth Bass Spring 2009

Some smallmouth bass that were caught between May and early June. Including a fat 4 lb fish and some other chunk bronzebacks. All fish caught at the Quabbin reservoir in MA. This was my first year targeting them at the Quabbin. A blast and even more fun on the flyrod.

I used alot of that same stuff. Also Jigs, slash baits, jerk baits and some smelt pattern streamers (fly rod). I also like moving around often to locate feeding fish. Don’t give up!
