Joe Jordan goes to Marble Cliff, Ohio for some awesome smallmouth fishing. Just watch as the fish bend the rod and smash the lures. As always Joe hooks the fish and shows you the exact location

    holopeee,
No offense taken. I’m not in northern IL though. Every time I go out I catch fish way bigger than the ones that won Kevin VanDam the 2005 BassMaster Classic. That doesnt matter much because the classic was in Pittsburg. Always remember good fish are relative to what body of water youre on. They dont average 3lbs and get 7lbs in Central Ohio thats for sure. Just because they arent 7lbs doesnt mean I’m not thankful though. I appreciate every fish I catch.
    Thanks for watching.

  • holopeee:

no offense but those are small. over in northern IL they get up to 7 pounds and the average is 3 pounds

hey joe, i know i have asked before, but what would be the best bait for bass fishing in this pond beside my house, it is a pretty big pond, i tried the greenish yellow colored spinnerbait you use, and i caught 4 or 5 bass this week, but i wanna catch more, lol, also, does scent work pretty good???

  • mikejones1770:

i always do great on the scioto especially for smallies..where do you put in below the griggs dam??

  • bassfishinfever:

oh okay didnt see em and keep on fishen man awsome vids

  • Fishnwithjoe:

    bassfishinfever,
I agree trailer hooks are a must for catching smallies on spinnerbaits. In this video I actually had one on. The fish were hitting at the blades of the bait. The trick turned out to be switching from the spinnerbait to a crankbait. The multiple treble hooks and the smaller profile is an excellent backup when they start pecking at spinners. Thanks for watching.
    Joe

  • bassfishinfever:

u should get some trailer hooks for your spinnerbaits they will get the ones that just nip at em

  • Fishnwithjoe:

For wading try St. Route 33 and 5th Ave. From there travel north toward Griggs Dam.
    Thanks for watching

Joe, Joe, Joe! What can I say?! lol You make it look too easy. But like I told you, I’m more of a live bait user, lol the “sit and wait for it” type. What the depth out there, any wading areas?

  • Fishnwithjoe:

I’m honored by your suggestion, longer videos would mean more fish. I’ve been experimenting with new formats to see what everyone likes the most. Thanks for the suggestions and for watching.

  • AZfishrman01:

I have one suggestion. If you could make your videos longer. You may be limited by Youtube, but either way your videos are still very entertaining.

  • Fishnwithjoe:

    It’s the 670 bridge.

  • AZfishrman01:

Thanks for the info. Keep the videos coming!

  • Fishnwithjoe:

If you go to 5th Ave and Route 33 in Marble Cliff, Ohio then travel upstream its much easier to wade. Fish above the riffle north of the railroad bridge by the fancy house. Tell the fish I sent you.

  • kbllz:

Joe, as a fellow urban fisherman, I LOVE your videos! Which bridge is that in the background, and what kind of water depth are you in there? I prefer wading to boating, and I sure do love to play with the stream smallies!

  • Fishnwithjoe:

The rod is a Berkley and the reel is a Shimano Curado. Thanks for watching

  • Fishnwithjoe:

Keep watching, I’ve got plenty of new videos coming soon.

  • skeeter944:

I love your videos! Please keep up the good work!

  • AZfishrman01:

What brand of reel and rod were you using to catch the first fish?

  • Fishnwithjoe:

    Thanks for the support Horseshoebender.

  • Horseshoebender:

    Thanks for the great videos!
