MDfishing.org: Sick Smallmouth Bass On The Potomac? 6-2-2008

June 2, 2008 we netted a very sick (but still alive) smallmouth bass on the Upper Potomac River downriver from the Shenandoah Confluence. If you see sick or dying fish, contact the Shenandoah Riverkeeper (www.potomacriverkeeper.com/shenandoah)

There was a sewage leak back in the 80′s that killed alot of the fish in the area over the years the mutated fish that breeded caused fish like these.
