Need information on tagging freshwater fish?

Most info is for saltwater fish….like marlin or sailfish. My interest is in largemouth and smallmouth bass…where to buy tags and how to do the tagging most effectively.

Go to your local Academy and pick up a fishing license with freshwater stamp and also ask for that year’s outdoor anual which contains info over how to tag fish and which fish are legal.

You shouldn’t be tagging any fish in the wild without a permit to do so. Check with your local wildlife service before you get your teat in the wringer.
