OUTDOORS REPORT: Dry conditions keep fire danger levels high

With minimal rainfall in the last week, conditions remain verydry across Wisconsin and fire danger has remained very high toextreme for much of the past week. This time of year there is stilla great deal of dead vegetation that will dry out quickly and beavailable fuel for a wildfire. In the past week, 121 wildfiresburned 186 acres across Wisconsin. Burning permits remain suspendedin many areas.
