I got a six pounder earlier this year in Door County… Minnows (shiners) are your best bet for the big ones.

I still haven’t made it out there and it’s only an hour from Duluth. Hope to get out there this year. I hear it’s pretty awesome fishing!

I LOVE to fish door co. smallies.. espicially in the spring when they are on their beds.. 2-3 pounders every other fish! amazing..

i netted a bass last year in door county that was 25 inches i live up here and fish everyday the fish this year are a little bit smaller than last year tho.
