What do you do when your favorite arrowhead hunting field is too dry to bother searching? You slay the Smallmouth Bass in the stream right next to it, of course! Sorry, no artifacts found on this trip, but I figure many of my fans share my love of fishing, too. Lost a few trying to be the cameraman. Hunting artifacts is a nice hobby for the solitude, but sometimes being alone has its drawbacks…

Took my brother down there just today… Slayed them again! Well, slayed and released
It was interesting, many had bloody anal fins, still healing from scooping out their nests. They love Mepps #3 Bucktails with silver blades.
Gitty up Barry! Can’t believe you caught all those under the same bridge! I have to wade for mile in each direction in the Uwharrie River down here in NC to do that good.

Caught a bunch that day and they’re mostly sows, but gave up on trying to be cameraman and fisherman. Had a blast! come on up and I’ll take ya fishin. But I’ll have to blindfold you so you can’t return to my “best” arrowheading field!
