Trying to catch a 5.5lb smallmouth bass in a special weedbed i know of just offshore in about 3 ft of water , its just full of huge bass .

Long point is very weedy. Around the opening of bass season there found in dense numbers in the channel in the bay. As the summer moves on they become wide spread through out the bay.
what lure are u using? must be hard fishing in that dense of vegetation.lol

in the weeds ? strange I thought they where mostly around the rocks & break walls. beautiful fish though. I catch them daily on rocky river in the summertime. anyone got the net lol
