crankbaits and 5 inch yamamoto senkos

Perch, crappie, and bluegill will take mealworms, earthworms, pieces of nightcrawlers, and small crappie minnows.

Muskie likes big whole baits like sucker.

Bass like nightcrawlers, crayfish, and minnows.

    Catfish like chicken liver.

How about fly fishing on the idea for you and good luck to you o.k.

  • Live To Fish:

When the water warms try bass and muskie on topwater plugs.

I have spoken to several others who have fished this lake and they have said that the best method is to get near the bridges in deeper water and throw live minnows. All species of gamefish will take a minnow. Now if you are fishing walleye and/or crappie, jigs tipped with grubs and/or minnows have been said to take fish. I have heard that the best time is in the evening. I don’t know much about the lake myself, but am trying to recall what I have heard other anglers say in regards to the fishing. Hope this helps and if you do decide to go fishing there…good luck and tight lines!
