What kind of lure is good for bass?

Any kind of particular lure(s) that seem to work well for largemouth and smallmouth bass?

  • Backwater Charlie:

A 3 or 4″ Stick-O from BPS is the only lure I’ve caught more than a largemouth and a smallmouth with together. I’ve caught tons of Largemouth with it, and even a couple (2 or 3) smallmouth. Good lure.

    Happy fishing.

Use the hooks and worms i told you to use not the ones in the picture. Just make it look like the one in the picture. I used this set up last summer and caught i billion bass! I caught this one huge bass and if it was a half inch longer it would have been a state record! I was mad and excited at the sametime. :-)

Look up the two products i gave you on Cabela’s website.

  • Sarah:

5 inch yamamoto senko stick bait ” rubber worms”

  • b2me2004:

Boohyah spinners, rattle trap, plastic worms

  • Artie:

having the best baits listed by anglers is one thing but knowing how to present them is another. What is the last book you read about bass fishing? didn’t the author list his favorite baits in it and didn’t he also explain how to use them effectively?
