  • Reddevil:

places where the swallow water drops off to deeper areas. rocks, plants, logs, and etc

  • GG:

you can use hip waders or personal float device .just cast into were pools of water form .good luck

  • BOBBER:

I would try the rock wall or the river. That would be your your best bet. I would try a jig or crank baits.

give a number to these locations you have available. like 1 through 4 over the course of four days start early in the morning and begin at 1 fish an hour and a half then go to two again for an hour and a half then three then four. on the next day start early at number two then go to three then four then one last. on the third day go to three first then to four then to one and end up at two. etc etc Eventually each location you like to fish will give up it’s preference for you to be there and if you track it and write it all down try to note the weather, water clarity, baits used, direction of wind and all these things will go into you own personal fishing book. Fact is if you read all the books that bass anglers have written you will find tricks in them that might give your places you fish even more consistant catching opportunities

you should cast the bait at places where the water is moving slow, but there are a lot of hiding places for the fish such as logs, rocks and as such since most of the shore fish concentrate of places where they can be secure against predators

  • Andrew I:

in my expirience all the places are good enough because smallmouths are always on the move hunting for fish theyre not confined to one type of area. but drop offs are always good as deep as you can get the depths provide protection and cooler water even now when the water isnt as warm as it will get bigger fish still stay deep and the drop offs are the closest conection from the deep to the shallows
