Whats the difference between a largemouth/spotted bass and smallmouth/red eye bass?


I just can’t tell the difference between largemouth and spotted especially. they just look the same.

    the large mouth has a mouth that extends past the eye the small mouth doesn’t and is usually is striped vertically, a spotted bass is a smaller species and is more spotted.

    the largemouths mouth extends beyond its eye. the smallmouths mouth doesnt. And the spotted bass has spots. the mb and sm have vertical lines running through the body
