Where is a good area for Smallmouth and Largemouth bass?

I live in Fenton, MO and i am wondering where a good pond, lake, stream, or creek is to catch Largemouth bass and Smallmouth bass but is not to terribly far away and can be caught from shore. If you could give me Largemouth areas and Smallmouth areas separate or an area with both that would be very helpful

  • Will:

Sebasticook River in Central Me. Try the N. Benton area.

If you hang around the local bait fish and tackle shops (especially Friday evenings) when the anglers come in to get last minute stuff they need you will over hear much of the chit chat between people talking about what they were fishing for, what they were using, where they were fishing and when. Try to get a part time job there to get all the local info.
