There is nothing wrong with Pflueger products. Some people may not prefer them, just like I don’t prefer Daiwa. But that doesn’t mean either of them are bad products. Honestly I think the Patriarch is well designed, smooth machine. I don’t own one, because I only use Shimano Curados, but I do like the Patriarchs I’ve played with.

i use braided line it always burns my thunb any tips? i am 11 i was 10 when i first learned how to use one

I have fished the last few years with 2 shimano citca 200d’s. Last year I couldn’t resist the look of the patriarch. I bought 2 6:4.1WLP’s. I love the way it looks and feels, but seemed to be more trouble adjusting with the six pin and magnetic braking system. I hope to get more used to it this spring. If not I will be selling and buying the shimano curoad 300e. Anyone who owns the Patriarch have any tips on settings?? I use 17lb.Berkley Trilene and a 6’6med ugly stik lite pro. Anyone????

  • NorCalFishinguru:

Why does berkley have a video on pflueger?

  • s4il:

    S.p. “rods”

  • s4il:

Love this reel have 3 of em, all on mojo bass rodes, 6:4:1 on my jig, and the other 2 are 5:1-, yes, They are expensive, but you get what you pay for.

  • phillip11772:

    what a dumbass……..always has been

  • khmerchikid:

    good choice with the rod!

  • khmerchikid:

    no way man…..Daiwa all day!

  • kicknbazz1615:

This is an a b conversation so you can c your way out of it =P

  • IBG67:

I guarantee he doesnt own a stella. Hes one of those yuppy ass fisherman who looken up the most expensive reel and said he loves it. HAHA! I hate people like that. Me personally? I prefer a mitchell 300 ex gold for spinning tackle, and a abu garcia black max. (cheap, like 50 bucks). As far as rods though i would like to have a quality rod, such as the custom G Loomis, because with rods i have to have sensitivity.

  • WINDHAMMAN:

ok the bullshits about fishing and gives his pitch about the reel- man what a bullshit video

  • kicknbazz1615:

oh ya i understand, its just ive grown up using shimanos so they are my favorite reels.its kinda like you always root for your home team, and yes i agree there overpriced

  • BlastnCastGuy:

i dont mean to be rude or anything, but y would u even watch the video you’re so against pfluegers???? i personally would rather pay $60 for a pflueger president than $700 for a shimano stella. and besides the president has had some better reviews than the stella on the websites i’ve looked at. just sayin. happy fishing

  • Skunkxx:

    Nice video!

  • revolutionpm:

  • kicknbazz1615:
