Are the Florida bass strain the toughest to fish?
If so what makes them more challenging to fish. I personally think it doesn’t matter and environmental factors play more of a role than geographic location

I€ heard so, with the weather.
All of this Obsession with Florida strain bass. They are not more challenging nor are they genetically larger. The reason they are larger is because they have a longer growing season and the challenge is the weather, which can affect bass behavior in all locations.
A Bass acts like a bass no matter where you are.
well redcore, i’ve fished for a lot of bass all over the place, i live in florida and can say for a fact they are the most challenging. i don’t really have a specific answer other than the fact that these are what most people come to florida to fish for while on lakes fishing. they see alot of the artificial baits and have learned this. that’s why it’s more presentation and angling that’s important…and by all means…do not fish w/shiners……………that’s cheating.
Largemouth bass, like the Florida bass strain, can be caught year-round,
but are usually the toughest to catch during the winter. These fish can
be caught on both live bait and artificial lures, which most anglers prefer
to use. The Florida bass strain has been found also in reservoirs in
Southern California and in Northern California at Clear Lake. These fish
can be massive and can weigh up to 15 pounds. Catching bigger and
heavier than 15 pounds fish is a great challenge to anglers.
we have floridas in most so cal lakes. these are pussycats. as seems to be the consensus here, the only challenge of note is to break ones own record. they are great plastic worm fish.
