The same time to go fishing anywhere for any fish at dawn and dusk I find are the most productive. If there is a full moon or close to it go at night time.
    As for the dates:
Bass tend to bite the hook more on Tuesdays and Fridays. I guess it just fits in their schedule better, just make sure you call them ahead of time to see if they are available for a bite. LOL what do you mean dates throughout the year. If you are going for saltwater just check the tides, freshwater go when the conditions are in your favor

  • Artie:

whenever you have the time is the best time.

since l can’t always get the moon phase or tide to fit my schedule (l think l need some other program for my computer to manage that), l just go when l have the opportunity.

For a trophy bass, I’d fish in the early fall and early spring. No specific dates to give you but I’d try to go when the moon is 1/2 low to 1/2 full.
Check Farmer’s Almanac for fishing dates. I truly believe in it for fresh & salt water. Happy Trails.

You know… I don’t target bass too often, but I’ve found that as long as I’ve got Senkos, I can catch them… as someone else got a thumbs down for, whenever you have the opportunity! Can’t live your life by a book.

I think it depends on what part of florida you live in. Here in south florida the weather doesn’t change all that much so you don’t really have to take into consideration water temp because it stays the same. No matter what the conditions though I seem to have my best luck early in the morning to right before the sun is at its brightest. You can catch them all day, but I just seem to have the best luck in the morning.
