I live in Southern California. I absolutely WISH I could afford a trip to Florida or the Amazon Basin to fish for one of those. When you’re fishing for the peacocks, think like you’re fishing for largemouths. They prefer practically the same kind of areas and will hit practically the same kind of lures. Use heavy line and BIG top water lures.
Catch an oscar for me! Are you aware that you have oscars in those canals as well?
man im in lake worth, you guts fromkm delray all the way tp miami., the canals are loadwed with peacock bass, lake ida in deray is loaded, try the samll buck-tail spimmer bait, or live shiners, early are lat in the day, and along bridges and docks//we have some up here in lake osborne..
