Where are some good size fishing ponds in or around Dunedin, Florida?

Hello,
I am looking for a good size fishing pond in or around Dunedin, Florida. No further than Tampa please. Something that is stocked with bass, and maybe a few other fish. I heard there is one off of MLK, but I don’t know what he is talking about, maybe you do?
And what type of bait should I use there? I plan on going Saturday.
If needed I’ll add more details on request.
Thanks a lot!
Good fishin’

  • Tbone:

Head across the bridge to Tampa and go to lake Thonotosassa. Primo.. Use live bait this time of year because the bugs aren’t out. Large shiners are the best.

    Good luck.

How much adventure do you like? I have found more spots using areial view images in my area than I would have by asking around and sifting through the lies. Try Yellow pages.com…type in your own adress and start from there. (satellite search) Search around and make notes. Go for a ride and take your fishing gear. It doesn’t hurt to know your neighborhood…you just might find a new spot all for yourself. It worked for me and I have 3 spots that produce big fish year round.
